BAM, the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing, in collaboration with ISAS, the Institute of Analytical Sciences are pleased to announce the 5th International Conference on Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) in Berlin, Adlershof.

The focus of the meeting is dissemination and advancement of fundamental knowledge, technology, and applications to establish LIBS as an analytical method.

LIBS 2008 welcomes researchers and students in the field of analytical chemistry, process analysis, laser ablation and LIBS, specialists from analytical laboratories and engineers from industry engaged in applications and instrumental development. We promote interactions with all other communities that use laser ablation techniques.
